Biografi for: Catherine Scott McVittie

Cathrine har fra sit første ægteskab i Irland en datter Mary McVittie, der er 19 år i 1910 ved Pensylvania Miracode index, hvor hun er beskrevet som Charles' steddatter. Ved USA Federal Census 1930 bær hun efternavnet Klaebel og bor sammen med moderen i Pennsylvania. Mary dør i april 1968.
Grandchild Donald C. Klaebel tells: "I do not know if Mary was adopted. I frankly doubt it. My grandmother had left Mary behind in Ireland. One of my grandmother's brothers brought her to the US with him. I understand my grandmother was not pleased about this. All rather hush-hush. I did not find out about any of this until I was rather old."
